My top 5 nude lipsticks!

Hey everyone, 

I don't know about you, but I love a good nude lipstick and sometimes finding what you want can be difficult! So today's post is my top 5 favourites, they are all slightly different in shade, brand and finish, so let's get started! 

First off, it's Tanya Burr Cosmetics lipstick in Bear Hug. It is a lovely pinky nude shade, with a matte finish but very comfortable to wear! I have used it as my everyday, go-to shade recently! It also has expensive looking packaging which looks lovely on display! 

Next up it's l'orèal's Gold Obession Color Riche lipstick in Nude Gold. This as you can imagine is more shimmery than the Tanya Burr one! It has more of a satin finish than matte but still really comfortable to wear! 

Another favourite is an Avon lipstick in Au Naturale, I love the colour of this lipstick however I don't love the formula of it as much as others but I have yet to find one the same colour with a different formula which is why it is in my top 5! 

Colorpop is a brand I love but the downside is that despite them shipping to the UK the postage can be expensive! But one of my favourite nude lipsticks is one of their lip crayons or as they call them lippie stix in the shade Brink, it has a matte finish and a bit tacky but I really like it! Despite shipping being a bit expensive the products are such good value for money! 

And the final nude lipstick I will talk about is........ yes you guessed correct, it's everyone's favourite Mac's Velvet Teddy! It's so popular that getting your hands on it can be a bit of a challenge but it's definitely worth it! It's the shade I go to if I have no-idea what colour I want on my lips. 

If in doubt... go with velvet teddy, it has yet to let me down!

June Favourites 2017

So another month has been completed and I it's officially summer!!!!! I have been living some many products last month that I felt I had to share them with you! 

First up, it's.......primer! 

Well it's that time of year when it's sunny outside and we are all sweating as we try to soak olio as much of the sun as we can! Well I don't think anyone wants there makeup to be slipping and sliding all over the place so I have been using the Nivea men post shave balm the sensitive one! And I know what you are all thinking MEN???? POST SHAVE BALM???? Yes! That's what I have been using! I apply it just before my foundation and it keeps my makeup in place all day! It goes tacky when you rub it in so if you don't like that it's maybe not for you but for me I like something I know will do the job and at £4 you can't complain! 

Next up, I have two foundations, the pricier one being the DiorSkin Star foundation! It has great coverage for such a lightweight foundation it blends well with beauty sponge and/or brush! It has SPF 30 which I love and overall, I just love it!

However, if you are on a bit of a budget which let's be honest I normally am! I have really enjoyed using the Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid foundation. I have found it to be a great everyday,easy to apply foundation. I usually apply it with my real techniques beauty blender and it's great!

A bronzer that I have been loving is the bourjois "bronzing powder with glints of sunshine" I have found that it give a lovely warm glow to your face without being orange!!! I have the one with the highlighter as well and have found myself using both the bronzer and highlight quite a lot recently and just to top things off it smells of chocolate!!! 

And just while we are talking about glowing cheeks, highlight is a big love of mine and recently I have been loving using the Makeup Revolution Golden Sugar palette a lot, especially the top left white/champagne shade which I think is such a "blinding" highlight for in a drugstore palette.
